So I have been back for a week from Ireland. I still cannot wrap my mind about the trip. It was more than I could have ever hoped for, and I definitely left my heart there. The history, the heritage, the words we spoke over the land and the worship we ushered in: all of it is still stirring around in my heart, without a way to release, just knowing I must go back...soon! We had some of the most amazing times of worship and every single person on this trip brought something to the table when it came to the way we glorified Him. Like I said, it is still so overwhelming to think about, so I shall just post pictures, because they speak volumes.

We got into a Dublin yesterday morning, and spent a lovely day in Donabate, at the Waterside hotel. It was right on the beach. The hotel was quaint , the food amazing, and the view even better! We had a great meet and greet dinner, and after getting to know everyone and hang out, we were happy to go back to the room and crash. Not wanting to be jet lagged, we followed Coty's advice on napping and sleeping ,and today we all feel great!!!! This morning we picked up another bunch from the airport, including Brian and Ramey and little Guthrie, ( who will turn one in two days and has just learned to walk ) and we are off to Glendalough and Wicklow Gap. So far the picture taking has been great, and I can only imagine it getting better!!
Ok, dang it, it has been 3 months since my last blog post, (which is shameful in and of itself.) But I forgot that blogger changed its format, and now I forgot all the tricks to get it right. Oh well, I guess I will stumble along.
God has been so amazing!! Rephrase that: GOD IS AMAZING!! From the smallest detail to the largest one, He is so faithful. I have experienced some heart filling times lately, in worship, in life, in my marriage, in my friends, in my family. He is truly the one who pours out the blessings.

So after sending my boy off to camp for two week, yes I said TWO WEEKS!!!!! Not really sure who it was harder on, him or me. Probably me, he took off and had a great time for the entire session. He did motorsports the first week and acting academy the second. The camp is really amazing, you can check it out here. They did such a great job, he is already talking about next year!!. And I loved that they posted pics of the kids everyday on their website, so you can see what they are doing .
Hubby and I, and some dear friends, are about to embark on a tour of Ireland for 2 weeks, called the Worship and Wonder Tour. We are headed out with Coty Sloan at Sloan Travel who has put together a beautiful adventure that is going to be amazing!! We will be joined by Ray Hughes, of Selah Ministries, and Brian and Ramey Whalen. We will be touring, and learning history and worshipping in some remarkable locations in Ireland. I really don't know what to expect, but I expect it will be a once in a lifetime experience. Here is the journal I made specifically for this trip!
I am really hoping my muse comes back around along the trip as well, as I have not done any large pieces since the Praise words, and I am feeling it. I don't know if it has been a time issue, or what, but I am ready for God to pour out His creativity all over me!!
I am also looking forward to shooting lots of photos on this trip. I have rented 3 new lenses and a new camera from BorrowLenses.com, so I am excited. I am taking a wide angle lens, and fishbowl lens, and a new camera called a Lytro, which is a whole new deal. My dear friend Richard Andrew will be releasing his new album in a matter of weeks, and THIS is the most exciting thing happening!! The Lord has blessed this brother, and he in turn blesses us. Cannot believe it is May 1st already. I'm like...seriously....what the heck?? I can't keep up!! So much going on, so many good things/hard things/fun things all happening around me. So let me show you what I've been up to lately.
Since the Claremont Artwalk last month, we did our Easter Outreach with Onelite. It was amazing. We had booths, food, haircuts, the Easter bunny, rap artists, new shoes, bouncers and Easter baskets. This is an annual event done for the community, and it was such a blessing

The next weekend was my first Art Journal class at my church. What a blast!! I had about 20 people, and we made our own journal, and then cut loose with paint and paper and glue, and it was so much fun!!!
We had some amazing artist shine through that did not know they were artists!!! I was so blessed!!!
The next weekend it was Linda and I off to see Third Day and Matt Maher in concert, Friday night. Always a favorite, this band rocks. We had so much fun!!!
The next day proved a first for me. I shot my first official "photographer" event. It was a Sweet Seventeen Party for some friends from church, who I love dearly, so I figured, why not. Note to self: Event photography is not your gig, deal with it. But I had a blast and Sami was beautiful. Here are a couple of my favs!
The next weekend was my hubbys birthday and we celebrated with friends at HipKitty Jazz and Fondue. Yummy!!! Everyone had a blast, and it was a great evening!!!
We had so much fun!! So what If I went overboard on WW points!! LOL, boy did I!! It was worth it!
I finished 2 pieces of artwork this month that went to 2 very special people!! I can only post one, because the second one has not been delivered yet!! I can't wait. Here is one I did for my friend Nichole. I heart her!!
So it has been a crazy crazy April!!! Next up: Hopefully a not so crazy May!!
