Vegas Projects
So here are pics showing 2 of the the 3 class projects I made. I took Stephanie Lee's Selective Seeing, and it was fabulous. Of course I could watch her work all day long, so inspiring. We took large format, high contrasting black and white copies, and then selectively painted out or painted in or just painted what we saw. I loved the four I did using older family photos.
The second project was Thomas Ashman 's Copper and glass mini journal. This was hard work!!! Thankfully Thomas gave us chocolate to calm us down when we got frustrated. I ate all of my chocolate!!!
The third class I took was supposed to be with Judy Wise, but she could not make it. Sad! I love her journal work. I did however get to use one of her Beatles "LOVE" Cirque Du Soleil tickets, though. That was awesome~So I did not post my journal work, as there were no new techniques done during the class. Still had fun though!

I absolutely LOVE them, Carrie!!:):)
Love the journal you made. I have a friend who also took the same class. She also made an awesome journal!!
These paintings are gorgeous! Beautiful idea, and beautifully executed. Will you do more?
Absolutely Jane!! I loved everything about the class, the process, and the result.
kim@Right back at you, I love your blog too! Your other classes work is gorgeous! AU is in Phoenix, hope to see you there someday. I'm working on my blog, stay tuned.
Thanks and congrats again on your cover splash!
I missed seeing you Carrie and I'm so glad you got to see "Love". I've also taken Stephanie's Selective Seeing class and made an awesome cabinet door with my mother's picture on it. Mom was 16 in the photo and I just love what I made and I love your pieces too. This was a favorite class of all time.
I hope we meet another time. BTW my eye is fully recovered now. It was just unfortunate timing and very frightening. xo
Thank God!! I am so happy to hear that!! I will definitely meet up with your again!
